Commercial Hyundai FCEV to Rollout within 60 Days

January 23, 2014 | By Hydro Kevin Kantola | Filed in: Hydrogen Cars.

People have been clamoring for the first hydrogen fuel cell vehicles to roll out to the public and now Hyundai will do so within the next 60 days. The target area for the rollouts will be in Los Angeles and Orange counties of Southern California.

The cost of the 36 month lease will be $2,999 upfront and then $499 per month. And so that drivers won’t have to worry about the price of hydrogen fuel Hyundai is offering this for free for the entire lease of the car.

In addition, so that drivers won’t have to worry about service and maintenance on the vehicles, the “At Your Service” valet program is being offered gratis. California drivers will also appreciate that the Hyundai fuel cell vehicle qualifies them to use the carpool lane, even for one driver.

As for safety and reliability the Hyundai FCEV’s have accumulated over 2 million miles in road testing in extreme conditions, without a major incident.

If you’re in Southern California and would like to get on the list for a new 2015 Hyundai Tucson Fuel Cell you can do so at this link.

  1. Great news for a Hydrogen car to come out , now’s the time to look for domestic hydrogen generators to power them .
