Hydrogen Road Tour 2009 Starting Tuesday May 26

Hydrogen Road Tour 2009The Hydrogen Road Tour 2009 is coming a little early this year. Last year the Hydrogen Road Tour 2008 started on August 10. And, last year’s tour started in Portland, Maine and ended in Los Angeles after 13 days.

This year, the Hydrogen Road Tour 2009 starts next Tuesday, May 26 and ends on June 3. The road trip will be West Coast only this year beginning south of San Diego in Chula Vista, CA and traveling up the coast all the way to Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada.

Here is a list of locations and schedules for the Hydrogen Road Tour 2009. The road tour event is being organized by the California Air Resources Board (CARB), California Fuel Cell Partnership, National Hydrogen Association and US Fuel Cell Council.

Currently, eight vehicles will participate in the journey that will include 28 cities, 2 countries over 9 days and 1,700 miles. The participants will include GM, VW, Daimler, Honda, Kia, Nissan, Toyota and Hyundai.
