The California Fuel Cell Partnership (CaFCP) is having a hydrogen car ride & drive this coming Saturday, March 29, 2008. This is a chance for those in the Sacramento area to come up and drive one of several hydrogen fuel cell vehicles that will be on display.

A day later is the 19th National Hydrogen Association Conference and Expo also in Sacramento that runs through April 4, 2008. The NHA conference is the largest hydrogen conference in the U. S. plus the longest running expo in the world.

Represented at the CaFCP are the following car companies: Daimler, Chrysler, Ford, GM, Honda, Hyundai, Nissan, Toyota and Volkswagen. The CaFCP is a consortium made up of government agencies, energy companies, transit agencies, fuel cell manufacturers and automobile companies.

Of note, you can expect to see the Chevrolet Equinox Fuel Cell and the Honda FCX Clarity at CaFCP open house. So, if you’re in the area, round up the spouse and kids, fire up your gasoline-burning beast and take a drive in what the future will look like.
