Jack Nicholson Drives Hydrogen Car

August 22, 2006 | By Hydro Kevin Kantola | Filed in: Celebrities.

Before Ed Begley, Jr., Tom Hanks and Peter Horton were promoting the wonders of the electric car, Jack Nicholson was driving a Chevrolet hydrogen car. Before Forrest Gump was knocking out delta docks with a shrimp boat, Jack was telling people that you can handle the truth and the truth is hydrogen is clean, green and the future.

Now, everyone knows the coolness factor of Jack Nicholson, but what many don’t know is that back as far as 1978, Jack was telling people about how clean hydrogen is and how the only byproduct to burning it is a little steam.

Check out this archived video of Jack telling us all that the world would be a better place if we just had a hydrogen car in every garage. Some even report that Jack said to the hydrogen car, predating the movie As Good As It Gets, “You make me want to be a better man.”

  1. HYDRO KEVIN, Jack was ahead of his time but now is the time. Hydrogen is the answer to clean up our air and converting to the H2 Economy by supporting Arnold’s H2 Highway so that we stop sending the Billions of Dollars to OPEC country’s that support the Terroists. Keep up the good work
