Hydrogen Revolution Petition for a Greener Earth

A while back I was contacted by Stefano Pino and Massimo D’Onofrio, the promoters of the Hydrogen Revolution Petition. I signed the petition and have watched it triple its size since then.

The original petition started in Italy where half a million citizens signed it resulting in the introduction of a new climate bill before the Italian Parliament. This bill is intended as an “…introduction of a new amendament to the international treaty on climate change planned in Copenhagen, Danemark.”

The Hydrogen Revolution Petition website is an extension of the Italian petition seeking worldwide coverage. The idea behind the Hydrogen Revolution Petition is to encourage the largest oil companies to install hydrogen (and methane) fueling stations powered by renewable energy sources all over the world.

This is seen as a way to encourage the introduction of hydrogen cars and vehicles that will reverse some of the effects of greenhouse gases and global warming. The petition takes 1 to 2 minutes to fill out and is a way to voice one’s opinion about the need for hydrogen energy on a global scale.
