The Mercedes-Benz Citaro FuelCELL Hybrid has been unveiled at the UITP World Congress and Mobility & City Transport Exhibition in Vienna. The hydrogen powered Citaro buses have evidenced impressive performance during fleet tests.

Vision Industries CEO Martin Schuermann plans to commercialize the big rig Tyrano plug-in hybrid hydrogen fuel cell truck. The Tyrano is a class A heavy duty truck, with twice the torque of diesel truck.

The Chiron fuel cell concept is both a train and a big rig truck. And on of the kickers to this design concept is the fuel cell is powered by algae. Both big rig trucks and locomotives have trouble getting from point A to point B efficiently.
